Which membership is right for me?
AAHCM offers five individual membership categories: Physician ($350/yr), Advanced Practice Professional ($250/yr), Allied Healthcare Professional ($80/yr), Business Professional ($275/yr), and Student/Resident/Retired ($80/yr). If you provide direct patient care in the home, choose the category that matches your licensure. If you support home-based care practices in an administrative or business capacity, Business Professional is the right fit. Better yet, bring your whole team with an Organizational Membership.
What are Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and how do I join?
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are member-led communities organized around specific clinical or practice areas. SIGs meet virtually throughout the year, collaborate on resources, and provide a focused space for peer connection. As an AAHCM member, you can join any SIG that aligns with your interests at no additional cost. Log in to your member profile to browse and join available SIGs.
Can my entire practice join as an organization?
Yes — AAHCM offers organizational membership for practices with five or more members. Rates are tiered by size, from 5–10 members ($1,660/yr) up to 41+ members (discounted custom pricing), and all members are billed on a single invoice. Every individual included receives full member benefits. Contact info@aahcm.org to get started with an organizational membership for your practice.
What is included in the AAHCM Annual Meeting discount?
AAHCM members receive significantly discounted registration for the Annual Meeting — our flagship gathering for clinical education, peer networking, and practice updates. Member rates are considerably lower than non-member rates, making membership a strong value for anyone who attends. The Annual Meeting features sessions on home-based primary care, hospital at home, value based care, and the latest in policy. Visit the Annual Meeting page for current pricing and dates.
How does the Member-Only Forum (Communities) work?
The AAHCM Member-Only Forum — also called Communities — is a private online platform where members post questions, share clinical insights, exchange resources, and connect with peers across the country. It is accessible through your AAHCM member login. Whether you have a billing question, a clinical challenge, or a practice management issue, the forum connects you to colleagues who have been there.
How do I get involved as a volunteer or leader?
AAHCM offers volunteer opportunities for members at every career stage. You can serve on a standing committee, lead or participate in a Special Interest Group, contribute to policy working groups, or volunteer at the Annual Meeting. Leadership roles are a meaningful way to give back to the specialty, build your professional profile, and help shape the future of home-based medical care. Stay tuned to AAHCM emails which regular ask for a Call for Volunteers.
